Producing high-quality construction timber is one of our strengths. We are certified to produce and CE mark strength classes C14 (T0), C16, C18 (T1), C24 (T2).
The products are strength graded either mechanically or visually. Rafters and roof battens are dried and dry graded. Structural timber – rafters and roof battens – are graded according to the applicable grading rules described in the common Nordic standard INSTA 142, which describes the rules for visual strength grading of structural timber. Machine-sorted trusses (C24) are sorted according to DS/EN 14081-1+A1 at an approved machine sorting plant.
Structural timber that has not been dried but strength graded is often used for hall construction or other construction projects where the moisture content of the wood is not important because the structure is not enclosed.
Undried construction timber can be delivered in exact quantities per dimension and length and with a very short delivery time. Standard lengths range from 3.0 metres up to and including 6.0 metres.
Dry construction timber is used in structures where it is sealed immediately after installation and therefore cannot release its moisture. Dry and dry graded structural timber is available in strength classes C14, C16, C18 and C24.
Dried structural timber is supplied in standard lengths up to and including 6.0 m and is dried to a mean moisture content of 18% and no individual values above 24%, corresponding to the requirements for structural timber CE marked according to DS/EN 14081-1+A1.
